I have four potential quilts to offer. They are all cut out and ready to sew.

For EVERY adoption, I would give preference to someone who wanted to give the quilt away, either as charity OR as a gift -- but I will certainly consider you if you’re in love with something and wanted to keep it yourself.

I will choose my adoptees Tuesday evening, September 19, around 8 p.m. (Eastern). I will mail to anyone in the United States. Please email me at pepper55family@comcast.net if you are interested in any or all of the quilts. I would love to know a little about you, and what your plan might be for the quilt. If there are a number of options, I will most likely choose in some random fashion.

Autumn Multi Brights

This is a quilt I planned using halves of layer cakes (5 by 10 inches) -- mostly rich, autumny colors left over from another project -- and supplemented by same-sized pieces of some print fabrics that have a similar color scheme. The quilt pattern I was planning to make was free online, and I will include it.

All the fabrics are top quality name brand fabrics.

There are white backing pieces, and I cut them, too. I THINK I cut the right amount. (Smile.)

I have the colored setting triangles for the top and bottom, and I have white mini-rectangles that I THINK I was planning to attach to the sides in place of triangles because I GUESS I thought I could square them up better that way? Honestly, I’m not sure. I have an additional half yard of that white that I will include, so you can cut out whatever you need or want from that.

I DO NOT have either the inner or the outer borders (fabric OR cut). You would have to supply that yourself if you wanted those borders.

You would need to supply your own batting.

I DO have 5 yards of the fabric below for a backing.

Backing fabric is more autumnal than it looks here. -- 5 yards.

First Blush

These are a lot of leftovers from another quilt I DO plan to make. :-)

The fabric is First Blush by Ruby Red Designs for Windham Fabrics. I have 3 complete jelly roll strips, and about 33 partials (most about half the length of a jelly roll strip or longer).

I think you could put these together some way to make a baby quilt – possibly needing to supplement with some background fabric (which you would supply).

I also have a NEARLY 6 inch piece of a red fabric (by width of fabric), which I will include. And I will give you a crib size batting – American Spirit – 45” by 60” – "70% Natural Cotton and 30% Polyester." (That was given to me free by Missouri Star – for some reason. :-)) You would need to supply your own backing.

Picnic

(Audra’s Iris Garden)

I planned to use the fabric line, Audra’s Iris Garden, to make the Schnibble pattern, Picnic (larger size, using layer cake(s)). I have the pattern pictured below (sort of), but I intend to keep the book!

The quilt is all cut out (I think – it was some years ago that I planned this) – and ready for you to put together, but it would be a LOT easier if you owned the book, “another Bite of Schnibbles,” by Carrie Nelson. The pattern is also out as a pattern, but it looks a bit to me as if it’s only made for charm squares. Not sure if that’s true, or if it would make a difference.

Some of the fabric. The light tan with a mini rust pattern is what I intended for the backing (I THINK) – and I THINK it is all cut out… I can’t swear I didn’t make mistakes, but I TRIED to be careful!

Plum and rusty red.

This is a deep plum (dark purple) – NOT navy blue.

There’s five yards of it, and it’s for the backing.

I THINK the deep red (rust-ish color) was what I intended for a border. ?? The actual pattern has a pieced border. But I have a yard and a half of this fabric. Possibly a border to replace the pieced border and/or the “separating strips” (see picture below) – and/or the binding? Or…??

I’m sorry, I’m just not certain what I planned.

The tans are...possibly inner border?? and...background.

I’m sorry I’m so vague, but it was years ago that I planned this, and I am not up to counting and comparing every piece.

You would need to supply batting and I’m really not sure about binding. An experienced quilter, able to compare what I have cut to what the pattern says, would be good, I think, but if you’re up for a challenge…!

Plan C

This one is even more vague! I BELIEVE I was planning to make something like an expanded version of Plan C (also a Schnibble, but this one in Carrie Nelson’s “Schnibbles times two”). Again, I have the book, and show a picture of a quilt I think I was intending to expand – I will KEEP my book, but I will send my diagram to you, in case you want to try to reconstruct it.

The fabric is Northcote Range by Cabbages and Roses for Moda.

   
I know this pattern has bigger center squares and also little checkerboards for centers. For the stars, I cut triangles instead of the add-squares-and-cut-them-off way, so if that bothers you, pass on this project. :-) Or, if you want to take these materials and construct something of your own, I’ll be fine with that!

Unclear what I had planned here – a combined back?? There’s 3 yards, 23 inches (more or less) of the red. There’s 1 yard and 16 or 17 inches of the pale pink with red floral.
I also have some strips or something cut of a dark blue that I was going to use...somehow.

I have no idea what I had planned for binding. It might be in the pile(s) of fabric...or maybe not. Quite possibly so. :-) You need your own batting.
